Biography

Scott Hoodenpyle received his bachelor's in construction engineering management in 1988 and is currently job superintendent for the Kiewit Corporation's Vancouver, Washington, Office. His most recent project is as a job superintendent for the company's $290 million New Benicia Martinez Bridge over the Carquinez Straits. He has also served as job superintendent for the $15.8 million Crooked River project for the Oregon Department of Transportation in Redmond, Oregon. He was the structure superintendent on a $96 million contract with the Hawaii Department of Transportation to construct two multi-span continuous precast girder bridges, and on a $140 million contract to construct twin viaducts for the H-3 highway. Hoodenpyle also served as the engineer on a $34 million project for the City of Seattle that removed an existing bascule bridge and replaced it with a new segmental swing gate bridge across the Duwamish River.
